Óbidos, Fátima, Nazaré & Batalha Monastery Small Group Tour
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll leave from the centre of Lisbon, and from there we'll begin our adventure. Along the way, we'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Ribatejo region.
Our first stop is Fátima, where we'll arrive after about a 1.5-hour drive. There, you'll have between 1 and 1.5 hours to visit its hugely famous shrine, one of the most important Catholic shrines in the world, with more than 5 million annual visitors.
Afterwards, we'll leave Fátima behind to visit the Batalha Monastery, from the 14th Century: one of two spots chosen by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
On the way to our next destination, we'll stop in Nazaré, a small fishing village 30 minutes away that has become one of the best surfing spots worldwide due to the huge waves in that area. You'll be able to admire its imposing cliffs and the strength of the waves. There you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to stroll around and even have lunch.
Lastly, we'll head to Óbidos. We’ll spend an hour exploring this walled medieval town, full of charming streets and artisan shops. It’s the perfect place to take tons of photos!
We're scheduled to arrive in the capital between 8 and 9 hours after the start of the trip.
